For the LUXEMBOURG PAVILION EXPO 2020, we created an exhibition sound design spanning four floors and six orchestral compositions. Recorded with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, the music connects themes of nature, enterprise, connectivity, and culture.

The Luxembourg Pavilion at Expo 2020 combines architecture, exhibition design, and orchestral composition into a continuous spatial experience. Across four floors, visitors encounter thematic environments dedicated to nature, enterprise, connectivity, and culture.

For the pavilion’s exhibition sound design, six original orchestral compositions were developed and recorded with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg under the direction of Gast Waltzing. The compositions accompany the visitor route and connect the pavilion’s different thematic chapters through continuous musical transitions.

Each floor carries its own musical atmosphere while remaining connected to the larger composition. The orchestral material unfolds throughout the building as a spatial musical structure distributed across the exhibition spaces.

We developed the sound concept and musical composition for the pavilion, including arrangement, sound design, mixing, mastering, and on-site implementation. The project combines orchestral composition with exhibition sound design at architectural scale.
