Momentum is an interactive sound and image installation in which body movement drives evolving particle systems, music, and sound design. Visitors shape changing audiovisual states through movement inside the space.
OUR ROLE Music Composition, Sound Design, Audio Framework Programming // VISUALS SCHNELLE BUNTE BILDER // YEAR 2015
Momentum is an interactive sound and image installation we developed together with Schnelle Bunte Bilder. The work combines reactive visuals, particle systems, and sound into a continuously changing audiovisual environment shaped through body movement.
Throughout the installation, the visitor’s digital avatar transforms into a fluid particle-based entity inside an evolving visual system. As movement changes the visual environment, different musical compositions and sound layers emerge alongside it, creating shifting audiovisual states over time.

Sound functions as a responsive layer connected to movement and transformation within the installation. Musical structures and sound design evolve together with the changing particle worlds, linking physical movement to sonic and visual change inside the space.
We were responsible for the music composition, sound design, and audio framework programming. Momentum premiered at CES Las Vegas 2015 and was later presented at CTM Berlin and Telekom Electronic Beats.
