SENSESCAPES is an interactive exhibition experience at the Grassimuseum Leipzig that translates major design epochs into audiovisual environments through sound, light, and media scenography.

SENSESCAPES is part of the permanent exhibition From Art Nouveau to the Present Day at the Grassimuseum Leipzig. The project interprets selected design epochs through audiovisual environments that combine sound, light, and interaction.
As visitors move through the exhibition, each chapter introduces a different spatial and sonic atmosphere connected to its respective historical movement. Bauhaus, Art Deco, Streamline, Optical Art, Computer Art, and Machine Learning are each translated into distinct perceptual settings embedded within the museum environment.
The sound design supports the identity of each epoch while contributing to the continuity of the overall exhibition experience. Sonic textures, musical structures, and audiovisual timing form part of the exhibition’s spatial language and visitor experience.
We developed the sound scenography for the project and contributed to the media scenography in collaboration with SCHNELLE BUNTE BILDER and intolight.
